Civil Air Patrol
Civil Air Patrol is an all-volunteer auxiliary of the U. S. Air Force. The CAP provides 90% of the inland search and rescue missions requested through the USAF. They also provide assistance to local and state governments, local law enforcement agencies, within specific legal guidelines, and carry out homeland security missions. CAP is chartered by the federal government to provide three missions; Aerospace Education, Emergency Services, and Cadet Programs. Civil Air Patrol was officially formed on December 1st, 1941. Civil Air Patrol is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with more than 50,000 members nationwide.

Awards-Nat. Guard and CAP
Several awards from the Army and National Guard to include the Army Achievement and Army Commendation Medals...From the CAP I have earned the Membership Award, Leadership Award, Loening Award, Disaster Relief with a Bronze "V" device, Red Service Award, the Certificate of Proficiency and a Unit Citation Ribbon. In 2008, I was selected the "PAO of The Year" for the Tennessee Wing and received a Commander's Commendation. I am a qualified Mission Information Officer, Mission Aircrew Scanner and am a Transport Mission Pilot.
