Miss Tennessee 2007 - Grace Gore
Grace is currently a second year doctoral student of Audiology at Vanderbilt University. After high school, she attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina for two years before transferring to the University of Mississippi, where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Communicative Disorders. Grace spent the summer semester of 2005 studying at Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy.

Joey Monteleone has earned national attention as he’s fished his fished, guide and instructed all across North America. Among Monteleone’s major accomplishments are catching over 20,000 bass in the last 2 decades and documented catches of more than 1000 trophy bass over five pounds in his career.
Expert at catching all species of bass anywhere they swim as well as crappie, bluegill, trout or catfish Monteleone utilizes all types of tackle and multiple techniques to land BIG fish; he’s caught fish from remote lakes in Mexico to the wilderness areas of the Canadian Quetico and virtually everywhere in between.

James "Big Cat" Patterson is Professional U.S. Coast Guard - licensed guide
on the Mississippi River in the Memphis area. With 45 years experience
catfishing and 30 years fishing the Mississippi River, he has been guiding
on the river for over 11 years. "Big Cat" specializes in trophy-size catfish
and was given the nickname of "Big Cat" by his good friend, the well-known
Bill Dance. "Big Cat" Patterson will share his tournament strategies and
techniques, as well as share tips on tackle, baits, rigging, sonar, locating
fish, seasonal patterns and other information to improve the Catfish Anglers
success.

Mike McLemore
Mike McLemore has been a name associated with the outdoors for many years. He started out calling ducks when he was a young boy hunting with his father and his uncles. He owes a lot of his success to learning to listen - to the ducks and geese and to other callers. Mike won the Tennessee State Duck Calling Contest twice, in 1972 and 1973. From there, he captured the World Duck Calling Champion title in Stuttgart, Arkansas, in 1973, 1974, and 1977.

The SKYWARN SPOTTER TRAINING PROGRAM will be offered on-site of the West Tennessee Boat, Sport and Travel Show on Saturday, February 16 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The two-hour-long class features slides, videos, and a video quiz. The class is free to the public (just sign in at the front gate) and there are no prerequisites for the course. Class materials are provided.

PBS Reading Ranger "Rocky T" To Visit Boat Show
Kids! Meet "Rocky T" - one of WLJT's Reading Rangers - Saturday at the Jackson Boat, Sport and Travel Show. Rocky will be on site signing autographs and ready for photo opportunities during that time period.
Local area PBS station WLJT - Channel 11's Education & Outreach Department conducts seminars and workshops throughout West Tennessee teaching parents and educators how to help children get ready-to-learn. With free books for the kids, parents, teachers and caregivers are taught how to open the world of reading to their children. They are provided with tools they can use in their homes and classrooms to help children improve their reading skills. WLJT has given away thousands of books to West Tennessee kids through scores of events and personal visits.
Meet Rocky at the Boat & RV Show on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, located on 400 North Highland Avenue.
